Good old Ken Bruce is trying to steal away our job. Well that is in the audio clip below, which features the brand new single ‘Sad’ by Elton John and Pnau.
The Australian band who’s been trying to crack the UK the last year with songs as ‘The Truth’ and ‘Unite Us’, caught the attention of sir Elton John quite a while back and was so impressed with them he allowed the guys to rework some of his greatest hits from the seventies in a unique ‘Elton vs Pnau’ project.
‘Sad’, which is out on July 16, features fragments of the legend’s singles ‘Nice and Slow’, ‘Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word’, ‘Friends’, ‘Curtains’ and ‘Crazy Water’. Don’t really expect a mash up, or a tribute but these are all brand new songs which feature some of elements of the described songs. ‘Sad’ has turned out to be very chilled, very relaxed, making it the perfect beach track to enjoy some sunshine or get rid of a hangover.
It’s the second track being unveiled after ”Good Morning To The Night’ premiered a few days ago. Our colleagues from The_Review shared their thoughts on that first track here. The full album, which is out on the same day, July 16, contains 8 full tracks and is said to have over 45 samples of Elton John tracks featured.

VERY NICE SINGLE MUSIC ELTON JOHN
That’s not Terry Wogan, that’s Ken Bruce. Terry’s Irish, Ken is Scottish!
Oh really? Oh gosh oops I wasn’t aware their voices sound really similar then. But thanks for letting me know. Article is now adapted
