Eleftheria Eleftheriou, the 2012 Greek Eurovision Song representative, has a new single ready to share with her fans; ‘Hearts Collide’ got its air play on Greek radio yesterday.
The new track blends an accordion with the popular euro dance ingredients into a happy summery pop tune similar to the past hits we’ve encountered by the Romanian leading ladies Inna, Alexandra Stan and Elena Georghe.
‘Hearts Collide’ is the follow up single of ‘Aphrodisiac’, which represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Azerbaijan a few months ago. Despite finishing 9th in the final by televote, the Greek-Cypriotic singer finished 17th overall, after the juries marked her performance down 18th place in the jury final. It’s the first time since 2003 that Greece finishes outside the top ten.
Yet Eleftheria is about to experience a busy summer as she is currently embarking on her ‘Aphrodisiac’ Tour.
