Listen to the CFCF Remix of Azari & III’s ‘Into The Night’ here

Azari & III burst onto the dance scene last year with their cult underground hit ‘Hungry For the Power’, shaking things up nicely. Their impressive live performances across the UK and Europe summer festival circuit have been highly praised by many festival goers, appreciating their mix of electronic beats smoothly laced with a signature soulful vocal.

They are now hoping to redo their success with the follow up single ‘Into The Night’, which is also taken from their sophomore debut album. The track, which is released on July 16 through Lip Records is another brilliant mixture of velvety synths over a melodic melting bass line in combination with the soulful vocals of Starving Yet Full.

The single bundle will also have several remixes featured, including one done by fellow Canadian producer, CFCF aka Michael Silver. The original iconic bass and synth dance track, has been treated to a brand new mix of melodic guitars and rythmic hand drums, creating an amazing electric disco vibe, making ‘Into the Night’ the perfect track to introduce or succeed Lionel Ritchie’s ‘All Night long’ at your Saturday night Party.

The remix will be included in the Single bundle of ‘Into the Night’ which is out on July 16.

One To Watch: Danish singer Songwriter Fallulah has a freebie to give away

Born in Copenhagen, Maria Apetri better known as Fallulah is a rising star coming from Nordic Europe. Since 2009, she’s been a favorite on the Danish radio with her solo ‘As I lay My head’, which was followed by ‘Bridges’,the most played Danish single on DR P3 in 2010 which also meant Fallulah won the prestigious “P3 Guld” award early 2011.

Since, Fallulah’s been scoring yet another major hit with the song Out Of It, which was played as the intro for the so called depression comedy “Lykke” on national Danish television, making it the number one download on Danish iTunes.

Her infectious combination of indie pop music, folklore and even Balkan inspired sounds is drawing comparisons with acts such as Florence + the Machine, Marina and The Diamonds and Bat For Lashes.

The track below ‘He’ll Break Up With You When the Summer Comes’ is one of the first surprises Fallulah wants to share, taken from her forth coming album, scheduled for release in 2013. The incredible singer is more than happy to offer the track for free in exchange for your email address, so download the track here

Muse debut their official London 2012 song ‘Survival’ Listen here

In all honesty, despite having heard of the band Muse, we haven’t really gotten a lot of knowledge of their music catalogue,  yet when the band announced today they were to unveil their new track ‘Survival’ as the official London 2012 Olympics Games theme song, we instantly knew it would be an epic track.

Front man Matt Bellamy was quoted by Digitalspy at the Rock The Games music programme launch earlier today, to have written the track ”with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win”. We expect he must have been inspired too after having lit the Olympic torch with his band mates and carry it through their hometown Teignmouth, Devon.

Determination and conviction are definitely two aspects which are very central in the track ‘Survival’.  The whole production is very uplifting, captivating and brings different types of music together brilliantly. Yes it’s overall an anthemic rock song as you would expect for a theme song for such an international event, yet Muse have managed to incorporate a sniff of Queen, opera, pop and choir music into the track. And while many might be scared by this summary as a mess, let me guarantee you it’s not.

‘Survival’ as the theme song for London 2012 is a brilliant song choice, and knowing that the artistic director for the opening and closing ceremony is no one less then Danny Boyle, then we expect to see an amazing show when Muse perform ‘Survival’ live. Mind-blowing.

‘Survival’ is available to download now. The track is also the lead for  new album ”The 2nd Law” which is released on September 17, and coincidences with a global world tour.

björk ‘s latest album ‘Biophilia’ has taken the singer to a whole new level. Not only are the original tracks on the album fantastic but since April 16, the Icelandic singer and her record company have announced a collection of collaborations with several producers, who give their own spin on tracks taken from Biophilia.

The collaborations which are announced every two weeks, have now arrived at chapter six in which Matthew Herberts has taken on the tracks ‘Mutual Core’, ‘Sacrifice’ and ‘Virus’. The result is rather sublime. Listen to them below:

Justin Bieber’s new single confirmed.

Justin Bieber’s 3rd studio album has impressed friend and foe by the sounds of it, making it the most sold studio album of 2012 so far. The singer has now officially confirmed he’ll release ‘As Long As You Love Me’ ft Big Sean as the second single from ‘Believe’.

The track which was produced by Dark child and co-written by Justin Bieber and Rodney Jerkins is a fusion of R&B and dubstep featuring rap verses by Big Sean. The single was initially released as a promo-single 5 days ahead of the album launch, yet is set to be released as an actual single on July 9th.

As with ‘Boyfriend’ the track portrays a much mature Bieber, who’s clearly capable of following in the footsteps of Usher and Justin Timberlake. Read our full review on the album ‘Believe’ here.
