Classic Brit pop from Japan? Is it possible? Oh yes it is! Iris, Koichin, Asano and Ken are Taffy. The foursome, based in Tokyo, have taken Japan and by storm since the release of their debut album ‘Caramel Sunset’.
In fact, the group is gaining lots of attention and fans globally, especially in the UK, which means Taffy continue to impress audiences with the announcement of their new single ‘Flower Chain’. The track is an infectious cocktail of joy, which sees Coxon-esque guitar lines meet sugary female harmonies. It’s got a massive punch, which strongly hints to the Classic Brit pop. You just gotta love it!
‘Flower Chain’ will be released on September 3rd, through Club AC30 Records, and there’s more. Due to popular demand in the UK, Taffy are embarking on a national UK tour Club AC30 in October and November. You can find details about the tour under the video of Taffy’s ‘So Long’
