The highly successful British pop band Scouting For Girls have been confirmed by BT London Live as one of the main stage headliners for the free London 2012 Celebrations event on July 29 in Hyde Park.
The Three piece, who unveiled their infectious summer pop track ‘Summertime in the City’ just over a week ago, are set to perform between the broadcasting of big sport events like Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Basketball and Diving which can be followed on big screens from the park.
Scouting For Girls are joined by a great line up of artists including Tom Jones, McFly, The Feeling, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast, Amy Macdonald, Paul Carrack Kenny Thomas and the cast of ‘We Will Rock You’.
The BT Vision Stage will also include live daily performances at 4pm from artists such as Conor Maynard, The Noisettes, Tinchy Stryder, Aiden Grimshaw, Jodie Marie, Dot Rotten, Stooshe, Spector, Roots Manuva, Dry the River, King Charles, Josh Osho, Alex Clare, Lucy Rose and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.
