The South African duo Goldfish are too good to miss out on: Check out their latest effort here

Cape Town based electronica and dance group Goldfish, a sublime project between Dominic Peters and David Poole, are without a doubt the biggest act in their genre, in South Africa. Creating dance music containing elements of jazz and African music, combined with live instruments like double bass, saxophones, keyboards, flute, and vocals with samplers, effects and synths, they’re masters in creating beautiful music which also allows them to work with many different vocalists.

For their latest track ‘Washing Over Me’ they’ve teamed up with Morning Parade, the South African indie band. The result is a happy uplifting track which, although it’s been available for quite a few months, still deserves to get the attention it deserves. All the ingredients, mentioned above, combined with a fantastic video, directed by Matt Torode.

Goldfish have opened for many international electronica acts, including Basement Jaxx, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Mr Scruff, Audio Bullys, Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong and the Stereo MCs. Their track ‘Washing Me Over’ explains why:
