The Script have a video ready for new single ‘If You Could See Me Now’

the-scriptHaving performed their new single ‘If You Could See Me Now’ on the Graham Norton Show only a few weeks ago, The Script have now unveiled the video for the track.

The track, which was written in a couple of hours one night, over bottles of Scotch Whisky and through rivers of tears and addresses the death of Mark’s parents and of Danny’s father, alternative verses delivered by both singers. The video for the track is footage from live concert mixed with black and white stills of the individual members of the group.

It’s a beautiful ode to the parents of Mark, and Danny’s father, and surely to be yet another big hit for the Irish band. ‘If You Could See Me Now’ is taken from the groups third album, #3 which was released in October 2012 and so far has spawned the singles ‘Hall of Fame’ and ‘Six Degrees of Separation’.

‘If you Could See Me Now’ will be released on March 4. Watch the video below:

A happy luminous Birthday Jedward!

Ireland’s most famous twins are celebrating their 21st birthday today! Congratulations John and Edward! As we don’t really do cybercakes we thought it would be a good idea to take part in the festivities by presenting you the video of the boys new single ‘Luminous’.

Forget everything you know about Jedward because ‘Luminous’ is actually very outstanding and mark a new chapter for this invincible duo. The guys have come a long way since appearing on that ITV talent show (we refuse to name it any more) and the video for ‘Luminous’ shows a very creative side to them. In fact there’s even a lot of flirting going on with the usual indie pop videos. Very nice work Jedward!

‘Luminous’ by Jedward is out now, alongside their second studio album ‘Young Love’. Watch the video for ‘Luminous’ below.

Jedward are letting their head down.. and we like it!

Surely John and Edward will agree when we say that the two brothers, better known as Jedward are really like marmite; You either love or hate them, yet you can’t deny the two energetic twins to be highly popular in native Ireland and across Europe. The boys, who represented Ireland for two consecutive years at the Eurovision Song Contest, could however change that marmite attitude with the new single ‘Young Love’.

We were really hesitant to click at first, as we were under the impression we might get to see ‘water fountains’ and ‘silly costumes’ but the Jedward boys have really surprised us. On ‘Young Love’ They’re literally letting their hair down, and swapping their usual silly outfits for  a more informal attire to release the rather pleasant pop ballad ‘Young Love’, which reminds us of the glory days of the Backstreet Boys in the nineties.

Big change of direction for John and Edward, but we would be lying if we didn’t say we are excited and approve it. The track does what it says on the tin. It’s sincere, charming plus John and Edward prove they actually have quite a good pair of voices, it’s not easy to sing a ballad so we are pleasantly surprised!  Well done boys! ‘Young Love’ will definitely make many Jedhead hearts melt and make them lot fall even more in love with the twins.

‘Young Love’ the single is taken from the sophomore album by Jedward and can be purchased via online retailers.
