2013 is going so fast, and we can’t believe it’s a few months since we caught the attention of Swedish songstress Belle back in January.
Now a few months later, things are looking even brighter for this young lady, as her latest single ‘Sisters Anthem’ has now been remixed by the famous Soundfactory deejays making the sublime track an even bigger anthem.
The collaboration has been quite the success so far; leading the Swedish iTunes electronica charts, ‘Sisters Anthem’ is turning into a huge hit in the dance charts as well. All good news for Belle who’s currently touring Sweden.
Simple fact; This is just an amazing track, and it’s one of the several versions which can be found on two EP’s for Belle’s ‘Sisters Anthem’ which are both available on Itunes. Go and Grab it!
Yes, while we’re still waiting for the official video for ‘My Heart is refusing me’ (accordingly it’s being shelved for now) Loreen’s been a busy bee. Not only has she been in the studio with producer Kleerup, she‘s also managed to find time to make a brand new video for a track, which isn’t a single as such yet.
Jumping between appearing at several national finals in the main European land, the Eurovision winner has recorded a video for the dark pop track ‘Heal’, taken from her debut album. The video is perfect for the song, dealing with the struggles in a relationship. It’s all frosty and moody, and it’s an absolute highlight and delight to see Loreen in yet another amazing video.
Despite the track receiving the video treatment, it’s not been confirmed as a new single as yet. In fact Loreen decided to release ‘In My Head’ as her next Scandi single. There’s no news yet, on what the successor for ‘My heart is refusing me’ will be in the rest of Europe. Though there’s no need for alarm bells as the singer features on Kleerop’s new single which is out worldwide now.
‘Heal’ can be found on Loreen’s debut album ‘Heal’. Watch the video below:
We featured Beatrice Eli’s debut single ‘The Conqueror’ last year as we were petty overwhelmed back then by this young Swedish performer. No wonder we couldn’t do differently then bombarding her as one to watch this year..
Gearing up to release her first EP, ‘It’s over’ on March 24 here in the UK, Beatrice decided to give us a glimpse of what we can expect of her. Judging by new track ‘its Over’ we are pretty sure we are going to love this talented young lady. What a stunner!
‘It’s Over’ is the perfect mix between dark guitar pop, fused with some funk and motown elements. It’s experimental and actually the music we totally love right now. ‘It’s Over’ the EP, features another two tracks, called ‘Definite Mistake’ and ‘Violet Silence’. We are so excited, bring on March!

We kind of said it already in the title didn’t we? Surely no one does Eurodance as good as the Swedish. Take Swedish artist Belle e.g Earlier in the year she released her single ‘Sisters Anthem’, which went straight to the top on the Itunes Electronic Charts in the home country, getting her all excited to release the first of three remix albums.
album number one is called “Sisters Anthem – Remixes Part 1″ and has been released on December 5th. It includes some fantastic remixes from System B, Mark Vox & Marco Angeli, Angel Trance Pres AT System among others and can already be found on beatport.com. for the lucky Swedes. Here in the UK, we have to wait until the 2nd of January, so mark the date in your diary!
We love a bit of Eurodance so it’s a tripple yes from us and a hell of a Heja Sverige!!! Come on Sisters!!!

A special mention goes to Mysco Photography who have created the album cover for Belle.
Now we do like to introduce you to the alternative soul singer songwriter here on GloPop so we were absolutely delighted to find out more about this 24 year old supertalent from Sweden to all our readers:
Antonia Vai is a 24-year old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sweden who’s according to her biography is dynamically explosive one second, and the other emotionally stripped down thus excelling in combining metaphores and contradictions. Intrigued? Well you should be.
As a well-established artist on the music scene of Stockhom she’s also carrying the title of “bohemian soul diva”,though Antonia mentions herself she’s actually more influenced by folk music. Her latest uploaded track on Youtube,’ You Know What I’m Like’ pretty much sums her up like that. You Know What I’m Like is the stripped back side of Vai and we got incredibly excited about her.
2012 ‘s been a pretty busy year for her, as September marked the release of her debut album “Lovers and Prophets“, a tribute to forbidden love and sanctifications. Apart from the debut album, another record called “Dirt From When The Earth Was Flat’ was released which is an album consisting of gathered homemade productions.
Both albums are out on Itunes, so go and check them out if you can. Listen to ‘You Know What I’m Like’ below.
Lorena, Mira & Marlene from Ms Trez have shown in the past 24 months that they’re hard workers, releasing dancey pop tunes which have proven to raise the roof of practically every party they’ve been played at. For single number 4, the lovely ladies have chosen to go for an amazing ballad, which fits perfectly with the festive season.
‘Sweet Liar’ is written by the team responsible for their first single ‘Louder’, Adam Robinson & Thomas Karlsson. The lyrics tell the end of a tragic relationship and the emotional destruction left behind by a broken heart. Heavy material we know, but Sweet Liar’s arrangement is current, up to date and allows each of the ladies vocals to shine through. Not to mention it’s the kind of ballad we are really missing of the girl bands around. Thank you girls for bringing the Girl Power ballads back!
2013 proves to be their year with their first EP coming out, spanning their four singles and lots more. We are very very very excited to hear more of Ms Trez.
Sweet Liar is now available on iTunes and other leading mp3 retailers. You can follow the band via their official Facebook page www.facebook.mstrez.com and on Twitter @MsTrezMusic, and mstrezmusic on Youtube. Listen to their new single below:
