Beatrice Eli, you little stunner! Listen to ‘It’s Over’

ELI Cigar 1We featured Beatrice Eli’s debut single ‘The Conqueror’ last year as we were petty overwhelmed back then by this young Swedish performer. No wonder we couldn’t do differently then bombarding her as one to watch this year..

Gearing up to release her first EP, ‘It’s over’ on March 24 here in the UK, Beatrice decided to give us a glimpse of what we can expect of her. Judging by new track ‘its Over’ we are pretty sure we are going to love this talented young lady. What a stunner!

‘It’s Over’ is the perfect mix between dark guitar pop, fused with some funk and motown elements. It’s experimental and actually the music we totally love right now. ‘It’s Over’ the EP, features another two tracks, called ‘Definite Mistake’ and ‘Violet Silence’. We are so excited, bring on March!

Mariah’s gone all Disney for Oz film theme song ‘Almost home’

When we announced the news of Mariah Carey’s latest new single, back last year, we were anything but mariah-carey-almost-homeexcited about her track. But we’re more than happy to forgive Mariah, because she’s gone back to the ballad genre that in fact suits her the best.

‘Almost Home’ is taken from the new Disney film ‘Oz the Great & Powerful’ which stars James Franco, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz as to name a fame. The film is the latest instalment taken from the hit musical ‘The Wizard of Oz’.  The lead single, is full of positivity and aiming not to give up hope.

”When you let your heart be the compass You won’t get lost, not if you trust it When you hear the sound of the trumpet Louder than ever before”

It’s an all toned down Mariah and you know what, we wouldn’t mind her doing more movie soundtracks. Fair enough ‘Almost Home’ might perhaps be a tad to cheesy, to really stand out in the current pop/dance field, yet La Carey proves she’s delivering one of the better tracks, she’s released in the past few years.

The single ‘Almost Home’ is out now worldwide. The video for the track is suspected to be aired in the coming weeks. The film ‘Oz the Great & Powerful’ is set to be shown in theatres beginning of March.

The Risk launch their ‘Missiles’ right to your heart this weekend

The_Risk_by_Christian_Lawson-3Remember The Risk? The four lads, who were initially put together by Tulisa during the X Factor 2011 are gearing up to release their debut single ‘Missiles’ this weekend.

Written with The Risk & Dantae, and the production is the hands of Pete ‘Boxsta’ Martin (who’s worked with Jessie J and Alexandra Burke) ‘Missiles’ is described as a tentalizing, urban-fused pop track.

The band who are known for their tight vocals during the live shows at the X Factor stage, deliver a decent, not to underestimate debut single. Agreed, it does need a few listens before we’re fully wild about it, but we had the same thing with Britney & Will.iam (and see where they ended up). We’re looking forward to hearing what 2013 has in stall for these guys.

‘Missiles’ by The Risk is out on Sunday January 27. Watch the video below:

Will.iam & Britney’s ‘Scream & Shout’ remix leaks online…

spears-williams-video-scream-shoutThe highly anticipated remix of Will & Britney’s UK number 1 single, ‘Scream & Shout’ has leaked online last night.

The track which features Lil Wayne, Diddy and Waka Flocka Flame was produced by Hit Boy and sounds completely different from its predecessor.

The duo had been teasing the remix for the past few weeks on Twitter and other social media. Spears recently also tweeted she was on the set for a new video, which will accompany the remix.

It took us a while to like the original, the remix however is pretty nifty and has a great R&B feel to it. Check it out below: (contains strong language)
