‘Get Rich in Vegas’ video for A Friend in London Released: Watch here

It’s been a top year for Danish band A Friend in London so far. Not only have they been supporting New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys on their tour, but they’ve also released their brand new single ‘Get Rich in Vegas’ which we reviewed a good month ago here.

AFIL fans will however be pleased to know that the band have now also released a video for their latest single. And it’s become a beautiful ode to their fans who’ve been attending and supporting them during their tours. The video sees the guys performing in several concert halls, chilling out in their AFIL tour bus, and playing basket ball. The Schou-lovers, will also be very pleased and won’t want to miss this video as lead singer Tim obviously has his top off in few of the stills.

A Friend in London confirms ‘Get Rich In Vegas’ UK release

Remember a good month ago, we brought you news about the latest release of Danish group ‘A Friend in London’?

Fresh from supporting NKOTBSTB, the quartet, can already count on huge support from their home crowds, and their recent slot with New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys has ensured a host of new fans internationally.

So very good news for the UK fans, as the group has confirmed the release of their single ‘Get Rich in Vegas’ on June 17.  Read what we thought about the band’s single here.

The single ‘Get Rich in Vegas’ will only be available online.

 

A Friend in London – Get Rich in Vegas

This time last year, this foursome were highly tipped as one of the favourites to bring the Eurovision Song Contest crown back to Denmark with their single ”New Tomorrow”. Althought A Friend in London didn’t win the competition, but still achieved a highly respectable top five position they have since gained lots of popularity across Europe. (Beat that, Ell & Nikki!)

Currently they are supporting the reformed mash up New Kids On The Block & Backstreet Boys gang on their European tour, and we’re really glad to see they have found the time to release their 3rd single ‘Get Rich in Vegas’.

And as we are used by the band, they do not fail to dissapoint. ”Get Rich in Vegas” is different to previous singles ”New tomorrow” and ”Calling a Friend” as it is actually the first midtempo track the band has done. Don’t worry though, ”Get Rich in Vegas” continues within the band’s trademark: It’s rocky and edgy, once again the new track has a great ‘anthem’ chorus accompanied by ‘Oh oh’s.  We’ve always been a fan of lead singer Tim Schou’s vocal abilities and now with the new single out we think are completely besotted by him and seriously considering having ”Get Rich in Vegas” as the ringtone to our alarmclock as he has this massive smokey, matured vocals in the track. What a track guys!  The only thing we have to say is ….Album…. Album… album…. Album… hint hint hint!

”Get Rich in Vegas” is currently only available in Denmark, but the guys have mentioned through their twitter page that they are working really hard on getting the single out worldwide too. So keep checking the  a Friend in London iTunes page.
