Wales has proven time after time to produce some very high standard performers over the decades. From the likes of Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones to Marina & The Diamonds. Having been in the music industry for just over a year , Welsh singer songwriter producer remixer and multi-instrumentalist Rod Thomas is now slowly gaining popularity mainstream under his stagename ‘Bright Light Bright Light’.
With his new single ‘Waiting For the Feeling’, being named as one of the tracks to watch on the website Popjustice and Digitalspy, we couldn’t stay behind and support this fab single. It’s a very promising start for Bright Light Bright Light who started off experimenting in his bedroom with sounds and literally from one day to another found himself producing Glastonbury Latitude Camp Bestival, Green Man Innocent Village Fete and Summer Sundae Festivals.
Think of a piano riffle intro, consistent through the track spiced up with beats and smooth strong male vocals. The verses are slick, give while the chorus completely bursts open. In other words its one stylish, smooth pop dance track! Wales might have actually found themselves their own answer to Australian star Sam Sparro.
