We do love our Australian entertainers, so we were double excited to hear last week about Delta’s new single ‘Sitting On Top of The world”. While many fans had hoped the singer would reveal the full version of the song, The Voice judge has now also released a 45 sec. snippet of what the video for the song will look like. And it’s Delta at her best even busting some moves. Utter brilliant. ”Sitting On Top of The World” gets its full radio premiere this Thursday. Delta Goodrem’s big announcement!
Exciting news for all the fans of Australian singer songwriter Delta Goodrem. The singer had been teasing us for the past week with a clock counting down the days and minutes to a big announcement on her website; the return of Miss Goodrem to the music!
It’s been a little while since we’ve seen Delta release any new material. There was the collaboration on ‘Mistakes’ with Brian McFadden in 2010, but since 2008 i’ts been rather quiet from the singer’s side. Her last album ‘Delta’ got a release in Australia, New Zealand and Japan while the rest of the world anxiously waited for an international release, which never happened despite featuring amazing songs such as ‘In This Life’ & ‘Believe Again’. The album was, according to the singer a lot lighter from her album ‘Mistaken Identity’.
The singer’s key assets have always been her vocals accompanied with the piano. It’s her trademark and what she’s good at. And based on the snippet of the new single ”Sitting on top of the world” Delta sticks to what she knows best. The new single sounds big and very promising and of couse has us very excited. April 5th is the big day, then the full version of ”Sitting On Top of The World” will get its full world wide premiere. The single will be available a week later on April 13 to download. ”Sitting on top of the world” is the lead of the yet-to-be-announced fourth album of the singer, who’s currently also one of the judges on the Australian version of ‘The voice’.
