Described as ‘dark, raw, energetic, very, very loud and intense with powerful and compelling vocals’ by BBC 6 Music, London based foursome Blindness are causing quite a stir already with their brand new single ‘Glamourama’.
The Electro stomper which was released last Monday, October 8, has now been given the remix treatment by fellow Club AC 30 Artist Deep Cut and the result is super delicious. What’s even more delicious is that the remix is available to download for free! Huurraaahhh!! Go grab it while you can.

Ellie Goulding has unveiled a video on Youtube today with snippets of tracks from her upcoming upcoming second album ‘Halcyon’. The new album is out on October 8 and follows up her debut ‘Light’.
And we’re pretty excited about the tunes featured on the album, thinking it could once again be a huge success for Ellie. The teaser includes a clip of the LP’s lead single ‘Anything Could Happen’, which is out on September 30. The promo single ‘Hanging On’, a cover of Active Child, featuring Tinie Tempah is also one of the tracks appearing on the album.
The singer revealed during the week the art cover for her new album.
Rebecca Rosier and Denmark Davis are one of the UK/Sweden’s best hidden music secrets. Crowned as one of Peter Robinson’s top five underground pop bands in NME after the release of their debut album ‘Scatterheart’ in 2010, electro Pop duo BIM are returning to the music world with a brand new video for their new single ‘Lights Out’.
But there’s more, not only is there the new video to look out for but their new single is being handed out for free. In fact these two talented people are handing out no less than three tracks for free on their website because they believe their fans are worth a lot more than 79p. Aren’t they marvellous? So get over to the website for the downloads so you can like them, share them and tweet about them.
So if you still have any doubts perhaps a quick recap on why you should download the tracks of Bim!
1) They are a duo, but in contrast to many you hear both of them actually sing. Denmark’s warm vocals in contrast to the sweet, soft vocals of Rebecca oozes chemistry.
2) their pop songs have a punch, and a hook which won’t be forgotten soon.
3) their debut album ‘Scatterheart’ is AWESOME and they are currently working on a new EP, which is out later in the year. So new work from them right now for free, is just supercool!
Conclusion: Grab yourself some amazing BIM music for free! Come on!

After unveiling his new single ‘White Light’ a fortnight ago, the video for George Michael’s comeback track has now been released. What can you expect of the video? Lots of hints to the medical world, a furry guest appearance of Kate Moss as Lady Fortune and the zebra, half naked men and women and of course George Michael. It’s lush!
The new single, which is a celebration the 30th anniversary of his first single written with Andrew Ridgeley, as Wham!. is out on August 13 and can already be pre-ordered.
Now this lovely young lady is one of those talented new comers, which is destined for stardom and really doesn’t need a long introduction. Phebe Starr is a talented synth pop songstress from Sydney, Australia. Since she’s uploaded her single ‘Alone With You’ on the Triple J Unearthed website, a platform from popular Australian radio channel Triple J which allows independent young Australian talent to upload their tracks, she’s been turning heads and wowing over crowds. Not to mention the fact that the official video for her new single, reached over a thousand views in less than two days, surely means something.
It’s quirky, synth pop and those oh so silky vocals of Phebe are simply never to be forgotten. What a debut!
Good news for the fans who like synth pop because Phebe has released the track worldwide which means it can be purchased through Itunes. After Sia and Gotye, could Phebe Starr be the next big Australian music export product? We think she can!
‘I’m Back, I’m Proud than ever’ … is how George Michael introduces his musical comeback after a few turbulent years in his private life. The singer who developed a severe case of pneumonia last year which not only left him fighting for his life and forced to suspend his tour is now back with his electro pop orientated track ‘White Lights’.
The track itself is a ‘ thank you to all the fans and people who have supported George the past few years’ and is full of referrals to the difficult times the singer has been through, but also to let us know he’s ‘alive’ and back on his feet. His website states the following:
“Most of my fans realise that I dreamed of a career as a singer-songwriter from an early age, but never in my wildest imaginings could I have known that I would still be here thirty years later, healthy, happy, and feeling that I still have so much more music to give.
George isn’t afraid to sing about his private life in his tracks, who can remember his cheeky super hit ‘Outside’ from 1998, which dealt with his arrest for soliciting a policeman in a public restroom.
Whilst cheeky ‘Outside’ Michael is still our favorite, we do have to confess that we also like the electro Pop Michael. New single ‘White Lights’ brings a new fresh light to the genre that Michael started to explore back in 2002 with his track ‘Freek!’
