Shawnee Taylor & Sympho Nympho: Colors Video

As it’s friday evening, we thought it would be nice to present those who are going out tonight with a massive club tune track by one of the most anticipated club hits singers of the moment; Shawnee Taylor.

The lady has teamed up in the past with the duo Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick achieving huge success in club land. Now she’s at the start of her own career, with the club anthem ‘Colors’.'Colors’ is produced by Sympho Nymphy (a dj team consisting of Erick Morillo, Harry Romero & Jose Nunez)

The single’s been out for a good few weeks but now Shawnee Taylor has premiered the video for her single. And with the title being colors you can’t imagine it being different from colourful. Think buckets of paint, being thrown over individuals (don’t try this at home) making it an extravagant bunch of colours.

Shawnee Taylor has an immense vocals and just stands for pure class. This lady just proves that proper dance anthems can be perfectly done without having to use auto-tune. Miss Taylor has arrived!

Alexandra Burke Let it Go premiere

X Factor winner 2008, Alexandra Burke has her eyes set on becoming the UK’s dance diva 2012 with new single ‘Let it Go’.

The singer, who also announced the title of her forthcoming album ‘Heartbreak on Hold’, tweeted last night already that new single ‘Let it Go’ would be out soon. And Miss Burke kept her promise as the song received its radio premiere today.

While Elephant got quite some negative reactions at first due to its massive autotuning, the odds for new single ‘Let it Go’ are a lot more favourable as the youngest sound like a huge club hit in the making. Far less autotuning, great vocals by miss Burke, throw in the typical 90ies dance elements and you have a clubbanger!

”Let It Go” will be released via iTunes on May 27. Alexandra’s new album ”Heartbreak on Hold” will be available to download on June 4. The album has Burke as executive producer and features collaborations with Erick Morillo and David Guetta.

The video for ‘Let It Go’ was recently filmed and is expected soon, so watch this space. In the  mean time enjoy the new track!

 

Ones to Watch: Alexandra Burke – Elephant Video Release

Exciting times ahead for X Factor winner 2008 Alexandra Burke, after a few delays, the lady herself is returning with her brand new single ‘Elephant’. The track is the lead of her second album, which will be hitting us later during the year.

And it’s been well worth the wait. While it takes a few listens to appreciate the song, Alex has kept quiet for a while and reinvented herself from what she did on the ‘Overcome’ album and turning into a bit of a club queen. For ‘Elephant’ she has asked dj Erick Morillo to step in and they sure are in for a winner, here. It’s clubby, it’s bouncy a proper club anthem.

In the video Alex parties a la‘’Rihanna’’, raving with her mates in a factory environment, busting some good moves. And funnily enough it suits the song very well. We were kind of hoping for an elephant in the video, but well we can’t have it all.

Splendid comeback Alex!

Ones to Watch: Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick ft Skin – If This Ain’t Love

Hey folks! We almost forgot… It’s Friday evening!!! So the weekend has started. Many of you will probably hit the town this weekend and have we got a treat in store for you, club-lovers.

During the summer Erick Morillo and his partner in crime Eddie Thoneick released the anthemic ‘Stronger’ with the vocals of Shawnee Taylor. Their combination turned to be a massive club success. Now the duo are back with a new single featuring the vocals of Skunk Anansie’s Skin.

The track, called ‘If This Is Love’ is again a very anthemic dance song which slowly builds up to the drums and club beats. This song must have been written for the vocals of Skin’s vocals as they blend it so well with the beats. We’re really hoping this is not the only collaboration the guys will do with this lady as this is without a doubt one of the best Dancefloor fillers 2012 has to offer so far.
