Florence and the Machine are getting ready to release the 4th cut from their highly anticipated album ‘Ceremonials’, which was released 28 october 2011.
‘Never Let Me Go’ is without a doubt one of the biggest ballads on the album and we’re really glad Florence has chosen this to be the new single as it fits perfect in line with the previous released singles.
The video sees a transformed Florence (with black hair) in a ice skate rink with what we assume is her lover. While she’s begging him not to let her go, he obviously does and things turn out particularly nasty. It’s a very interesting video, something we didn’t see coming for the song, but it is effective and suits it very well.
”Never Let Me go” will be officially released as the fourth single on April 1st. The album ”Ceremonials” is now out on iTunes and Spotify.
