Nicki Minaj’s new single ‘The Boys’ ft Cassie is out on Itunes.

Believe it or not, but here in the UK retailers are already gearing up for Christmas, and by the looks of it the music industry is doing exactly the same with its first Christmas and repackage/Deluxe Edition album announcements.

Jumping on the same bandwagon is Nicki Minaj. The US rapper/Hip Hop artist has released a brand new track, called ‘The Boys’ featuring R&B singer Cassie. The new track is featured on a repackaged edition of the singer’s latest album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’. The new album entitled ‘Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-up’ is expected November 5 and will feature new tracks, of which a duet with fellow rapper Lil’Wayne.

As for ‘The Boys’ itself, Minaj continues to focus on ‘fun music’. Bringing a big fat beat with her, and a brilliant mix of rapping versus singing (in this case done by Cassie) it’s less poppier than previous singles but extremely exciting to see in the charts. And it leaves us intrigued to find out what the rest of the new tracks will look like.

Harlem based Azealia Banks has been changing the current landscape of Hip Hop with her addictive mix of rap and dance club melodies since first single ’212′ surfaced end of last year.

In September her first album, ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’  is to be released. Yet that’s not stopping this talented lady from releasing her latest EP ‘Fantasea’ today.  It’s one of the great assets of Azealia, she’s not afraid to share new music with her fans. And a clever trick from her as well to get her music out there for people to get acquainted with her.

So what can you expect from Fantasea as an EP. We would say ‘Fantasea’ is actually much more an actual cd then an EP. Giving away 19 tracks for free, is not nothing and rather unusual for any artist these days.  Not to mention the incredible high standard of tracks like ‘Fierce’, ‘Atlantis’ (which is very similar to 212′) and ‘Fantasea’. Banks has this infectious natural way of mixing two styles in a fun way, and come up with an upbeat collection of tracks, perfect to 1) kick off a great night out 2) go absolutely mental on the dance floor and last but not least 3) chill out on after a great night out. It’s hard to pick favourites because each individual track, stands out on its own.  It’s unique, individual, and ultra-creative! The EP also features previous free downloads ‘F*** Up The Fun’, ‘Jumanji’ and ‘Nathan’ ft Styles P.

Fans will be happy to know that Azealia is giving the full EP away for free,  By doing so not only ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’  has to be the hip hop album of the year but it also sets  the expectations for her album very high.

The singer took to Twitter last night to mention that the ‘next stop is the album’. An exact date for ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ has not been released yet.  Banks recently released the video for ‘Van Vogue’ taken from her first EP ’1991′ which also includes the smash single ’212′ and ‘Liquorice’.

Outlandish release new single ‘Warrior/Worrier’

The Danish hip hop band, best known in Europe for their chart hit ‘Aicha’, are back with a new single from their sixth studio album. The new mid-tempo track ‘Warrior/Worrier’ is once again an absolute stunner from the band who’s not afraid to include themes about Islam and contemporary issues facing young Muslims in the west in their music.

New Single ‘Warrior/Worrier’ which is taken from the band’s sixth studio album ”Warrior/Worrier” which was released on May 25, includes all the usual Outlandish ingredients, making the track a nice break from what’s currently conquering the charts. If you like The Script and Temper Trap then Outlandish is a band you definitely shouldn’t miss out on.

Azaelia Banks ‘Aquababe’ online + free download

Azaelia Banks has released a new track today.

The track, ‘Aquababe’, is the second song taken from ”Fantasea”, the singer’s upcoming EP also including the track ‘jumanji’. Produced by Machinedrum, the new track kicks off with what sounds as a clan of wolves howling, before Azaelia does her thing. In all honesty not as catchy as her debut ’212′ but very consisting with the previous tracks she singer has released through the ’1991′ EP and ‘Jumanji’.

As with the latter, the singer is  offering the song free as a download via her Sound cloud page, while the full EP ‘Fantasea’ will be out on July 4.

The Harlem born MC/Rapper/Singer Songwriter is currently busy laying the final touches on her forthcoming debut album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ for September.

The singer has recently said there’s more to her than the rapping, and is said to look forward to showcase her talent as a vocalist.

Keaira Lashae drops ‘Frankie’ video! Watch Here

We’ve been creating a bit of a buzz the past few weeks for Hip-Hop/R&B singer, dancer, fitness maven & songwriter Keaira Lashae, simply because she is really worth it and reminds us so much of that other super hot R&B singer Aaliyah

After a short teaser from new single ‘Frankie’, which features on the singer’s self-titled EP,  which is due later this month, we are able to let you all know that lovely Keaira has dropped the video for the new single.

What to expect? Prepare yourself to see some slick super awesome dance moves, which well frankly would take us at least a full hour of non stop watching and studying before we might give it a try ourselves (and most likely fail miserably at first) by an amazingly talented all round entertainer who’s definitely the ”definition of a boss” and should definitely call herself  a Superhero! Holler girl!

The track ‘Frankie’ in it’s full is an awesome R&B track, which really brings the genre back to its core values, rather than messing around with the Pop music these days (flirty flirty). Think Ciara’s ”Goodies” mixed with ”We Need a Resolution” by Aaliyah et voila ‘Frankie’ is the result. If there ever was to be a love child between these two female artists, Keaira would be the result!

Keaira LaShae teases Video for new single ”Frankie”

Keaira LaShae featured on our review last week with news about her upcoming self-titled EP ”Keaira LaShae” which is scheduled for a summer release, but that doesn’t stop the aspiring choreographer, songwriter,  dance/ fitness instructor and musician to tease the video for new single ”Frankie”.

With precision, style and dedication the interlude of ”Frankie” promises to be a club/dub step piece of art with a heck of a slick dance routine. The very small preview in the video already shows a heavy resemblance with former R&B superstar Aaliyah, which makes is double excited about this talented young lady.
