English rapper Jermaine Scott, better known as Wretch 32 has unveiled the video for his new single ‘Hush Little Baby’, taken from his album ‘Black & White’.
The rapper teams up with singing sensation Ed Sheeran on his track, who rose to fame globally with the hit ‘A-Team’. The track, which is available on Wretch 32′s album is a huge favourite with the rappers fans and fits in beautifully with the string of rapper vs singer songwriter collaboration we have seen over the past two years.
If Emeli Sande and Professor Green’s ”Read All About it” was our most favourite collaboration last year, we think Wretch 32 & Ed Sheeran might be the one in 2012. ‘Hush Litte Baby’ is a nice combination of rap, a strong vocal chorus song by a soft indie voice, on a melody which is uplifting and accompanied by strings.
The clip tells the story of a man in a New York taxi rushing to hospital for the birth of his child.
‘Hush Little Baby’ is set to be available on May 27 via I-Tunes. The album ‘Black & White’ can be purchased now.
