While X Factor judge/cousin and fellow band member Tulisa is having trouble completing her album, Dappy is ready to release his 2nd solo single ‘Rock star’.
The lead singer of N-Dubz, who’s known for wearing ‘’eye-catching’’ hat-wear is teaming up with Queen Guitarist Brian May for the follow up of UK number one ‘’No Regrets’’.
Credit to Dappy for writing ‘’Rockstar’’ but we can’t help but feel a bit underwhelmed by the general similar production of ‘’No Regrets’’. We’re a bit indifferent towards the new single, as it misses a real punch. We would have loved to see this be heavier and rockier, especially when you’re accompanied with the honouree Brian May, and perhaps fully rapped rather than the rap and singing. But hey with an overdose on radio airplay, we think this might grow on us and eventually sweep us off our feet.
