Loreen’s got a new video out (though it’s not a new single)

Yes, while we’re still waiting for the official video for ‘My Heart is refusing me’ (accordingly it’s being shelved for now) Loreen’s been a busy bee. Not only has she been in the studio with producer Kleerup, sheLoreen_Heal‘s also managed to find time to make a brand new video for a track, which isn’t a single as such yet.

Jumping between appearing at several national finals in the main European land, the Eurovision winner has recorded a video for the dark pop track ‘Heal’, taken from her debut album. The video is perfect for the song, dealing with the struggles in a relationship. It’s all frosty and moody, and it’s an absolute highlight and delight to see Loreen in yet another amazing video.

Despite the track receiving the video treatment, it’s not been confirmed as a new single as yet. In fact Loreen decided to release ‘In My Head’ as her next Scandi single. There’s no news yet, on what the successor for ‘My heart is refusing me’ will be in the rest of Europe. Though there’s no need for alarm bells as the singer features on Kleerop’s new single which is out worldwide now.

‘Heal’ can be found on Loreen’s debut album ‘Heal’. Watch the video below:

London GrammarWe really have a soft spot for this London based trio. When we heard their track ‘Hey Now’ just over two months ago, we fell in love with them completely.

The prospect of London Grammar then releasing their EP on Monday February 25 is yet another exciting release on our schedule. The EP which is called ‘Metal & Dust’ will feature ‘Hey Now’ and brand new track ‘Metal & Dust’ which you can find below.

Once again the production and the silky vocals are making London Grammar a superexciting band for this year. We can’t wait to hear more from this trio!

Now that’s what we call talent; Kymberley Kennedy’s ‘What the Funk’ Mixtape

kennedyBeing an all round entertainer means writing your own music, mixing it and just be simply incredible. We get the impression that too many artists label themselves too quickly take credit for all these the qualities above and fail miserably in being current and fresh;

But not this lady: UK based Kimberley Kennedy does it all. She’s a singer songwriter, producer and mixer producing some pretty nifty stuff. First introduced to the public last year via ‘The Kym Possible’ mixtape, it was not long before she was receiving rave reviews online and significant radio support (Trevor Nelson, Shawn Campbell to name a few).

And looks like she’s set to do it all over again with the brand new mixtape ‘What The Funk’ which is totally sublime if you ask us. It’s a mixture of amazing vocals, great beats, dubstep, all mixed brilliant with some pure classics. You name it and its there! Make sure you listen to it below and grab it for free, while you can.

And there’s more to come; Details of a forthcoming EP and live dates are coming soon. We are excited!

The Script have a video ready for new single ‘If You Could See Me Now’

the-scriptHaving performed their new single ‘If You Could See Me Now’ on the Graham Norton Show only a few weeks ago, The Script have now unveiled the video for the track.

The track, which was written in a couple of hours one night, over bottles of Scotch Whisky and through rivers of tears and addresses the death of Mark’s parents and of Danny’s father, alternative verses delivered by both singers. The video for the track is footage from live concert mixed with black and white stills of the individual members of the group.

It’s a beautiful ode to the parents of Mark, and Danny’s father, and surely to be yet another big hit for the Irish band. ‘If You Could See Me Now’ is taken from the groups third album, #3 which was released in October 2012 and so far has spawned the singles ‘Hall of Fame’ and ‘Six Degrees of Separation’.

‘If you Could See Me Now’ will be released on March 4. Watch the video below:

Beatrice Eli, you little stunner! Listen to ‘It’s Over’

ELI Cigar 1We featured Beatrice Eli’s debut single ‘The Conqueror’ last year as we were petty overwhelmed back then by this young Swedish performer. No wonder we couldn’t do differently then bombarding her as one to watch this year..

Gearing up to release her first EP, ‘It’s over’ on March 24 here in the UK, Beatrice decided to give us a glimpse of what we can expect of her. Judging by new track ‘its Over’ we are pretty sure we are going to love this talented young lady. What a stunner!

‘It’s Over’ is the perfect mix between dark guitar pop, fused with some funk and motown elements. It’s experimental and actually the music we totally love right now. ‘It’s Over’ the EP, features another two tracks, called ‘Definite Mistake’ and ‘Violet Silence’. We are so excited, bring on March!
