Dizee Rascal & Pepper for Olympic Track ‘Scream’. Watch here

We’re really kicking off the Olympic Games today with yet another track being unveiled as one of the five official London 2012 tracks.

This time it’s Dizzee Rascal and his protégé Pepper who unveil their 2012 collaboration ‘Scream’. Even though they’ve performed the track on numerous occasions live, the studio version of the track and its video clip was still to be heard, until this afternoon.

The video clip features the duo performing the track on several festivals, intertwined with different scenes from the Rocky films featuring Sylvester Stallone.

A very uplifting song, in the traditional Dizzee Rascal style,which completes an already great line up of artists like Muse, Elton John vs Pnau, Delphic and the Chemical Brothers.

As with most of the others ‘Scream’ can now be pre-ordered and will be available for download on August 5. In the mean time enjoy the video

Scouting For Girls to play BT London Live on July 29.

The highly successful British pop band Scouting For Girls have been confirmed by BT London Live as one of the main stage headliners for the free London 2012 Celebrations event on July 29 in Hyde Park.

The Three piece, who unveiled their infectious summer pop track ‘Summertime in the City’ just over a week ago, are set to perform between the broadcasting of big sport events like Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Basketball and Diving which can be followed on big screens from the park.

Scouting For Girls are joined by a  great line up of artists including Tom Jones, McFly, The Feeling, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast, Amy Macdonald, Paul Carrack Kenny Thomas and the cast of ‘We Will Rock You’.

The BT Vision Stage will also include live daily performances at 4pm from artists such as Conor Maynard, The Noisettes, Tinchy Stryder, Aiden Grimshaw, Jodie Marie, Dot Rotten, Stooshe, Spector, Roots Manuva, Dry the River, King Charles, Josh Osho, Alex Clare, Lucy Rose and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

‘BT London Live’ is a partnership between the Mayor of London, The Royal Parks and The London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and is a key part of the citywide programme of events being organised by the Mayor of London to celebrate the London 2012 Games.
