Now okay, we admit it we do get easily excited about music, but 2013 has just gotten even more exciting
since London based pop band Bastille unveiled the radio edit for their second single ‘Pompeii’.
The pop band which are fronted by producer Dan Smith released their debut Flaws/Icarus on Young & Lost Club in June 2011 but really caught the attention of critics and music lovers in October last year with their single ‘Flaws’, peaking at number 21 in the UK charts and thus receiving a decent amount of airplay.
For single number two, the pop band have chosen a big anthemic track which is opened by tribunal male vocalists. It’s pretty awesome, and sets the standards for music this year incredibly high. ‘Pompeii’ will be available to download on February 24 while their debut album ‘Bad Blood’ is released one week later on March 4.
A video for the track is expected soon.
