Paloma Faith’s unveils video for ’30 Minute Love Affair’

New album ‘Fall To Grace’, preceded by single ‘Picking Up The Pieces’ have certainly put English singer songwriter Paloma Faith back in the spotlight after a two year absence from the music scene. The new critically acclaimed album is currently still going strong in the charts and set to be one of the most successful albums of 2012. Perfect time to announce a new single. So that’s what Paloma has done…

Keeping up with fantastic quality and unforgettable tracks, Paloma has confirmed and unveiled the video for the second single, ’30 Minute Love Affair’.  As with all the songs featured on her new album, the lyrics for ’30 Minute Love Affair’ is autobiographical and tells the story about an encounter she had as 14 year old with a busker at Leicester Square in London.

With a chorus going ”Runaway lover I soon discovered It was best when we left it I’ll never forget it Our 30 minute love affair” chances for a happy ending are rather slim, yet Faith proves once again that her way of dealing with memories from the past are amazingly translated in a fantastic track.

The video for the new single, which is out August 12, is set in a strip club where Paloma is performing before going backstage to share a little affair moment with her pianist player. It sets the mood of the entire song very well which in itself is already a dreamy mid tempo track with some electro influences. Very lovely indeed.

’30 Minute Love Affair’ is out on August 12 or can be downloaded already through the album ‘Fall To Grace’.

5 Reasons Why Misha B’s Video Is D.O.P.E!!

Yes, yes it’s here. Misha B has unveiled the official video for her first single ‘Home Run’. The upbeat tempo track sees its release on July 15th. Here are the five reasons why we LOVE the Misha video:

1. The introduction of the video might be simple with a light background and Misha’s silhouette making it look very classy, yet what follows is an extravaganza of dance & colors. It almost feels like unwrapping a present, which gets better and better by removing a layer of paper. wahooow!!!

2. It’s the Return of Scary Spice!!! Misha’s ‘curly Scary Spice’ coupe is our all time favorite hairstyle of the singer,  it makes her look cool, funky, and relentlessly cheeky. Mel B’s warned…

3. No one can top Misha B ‘eye lashes’ … no matter how many meat dresses Lady GaGa has in her closet.

4. Wahooow there is UV face-paint, clothes, even for the dancers. Can this get any better?

5. It’s the return of Scary Spice Part 2!!! But Misha so owns it: the range of images projected onto her face during a close-range headshot is simply Wowzers!

Our verdict? Well the title gave it away already but we think it’s DOPE!!! Time to find out for yourselves. Enjoy the video!

‘Home Run’ is available on July 15. It’s the first single for Misha B and predecessor of her first debut album which is to follow later  in the year.

Chris Brown ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ Video released

The artwork of Chris Brown’s latest single, and the art cover for his new album ‘Fortune’ already showcased we might go a tad digital for the singer’s latest video

And yup, alongside Chris we’re being sucked into a little chasing game all coordinated by a rather gorgeous  young lady in either her wedding dress or night dress (we think it’s the latter). Starting off in a labyrinth to drowning in a desert which suddenly turns into an ocean, before ending safely in bed, it’s all about virtual gaming.

No complicated dance routine in this video for Chris, and for once we actually don’t mind as the song speaks for itself and will have you move instantly anyway.

‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ sees its official UK release on June 22nd, the new album ‘Fortune’ is out July 1st in Europe, and follows one day later in the US.

New Music by Mika: ‘Make You Happy’ teases new album

Singing sensation Mika, has been busy conquering the charts across the channel for the last year, but that’s soon to change. The singer tweeted today the video for a new track which is to appear on his new album ”Origin of Love”, scheduled for a release later this year.

The song itself ‘Make You Happy’ is NOT a new single, simply a teaser of what’s to come and boy oh boy are we excited.

Discussing the video for the emerged track on his Vimeo account the singer explains: ”I commissioned a short film which I felt perfectly captured the sentiment of the track. The film was directed by Iouri Philippe Paillé and was made in Montreal. This is where the entire album started taking shape a year ago with Nick Littlemore at Planet Studios in Papineau…I can’t wait for you to hear the first single and the rest of the album very, very soon.”

”Origin of Love” will be the British singer songwriter’s third album since the globally number 1 album ‘Life in Cartoon Motion’ and top 4 successor ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much’ which have both spanned over 12 hit singles.

Tell us what are your thoughts on the new Mika track? We’d love to know!!!
